Madison artist Shayna Leib a series of beautiful glass sculpture entitled “Wind and Water”. Here is the artistic concept behind its mind-blowing works: “Two of the most powerful elements of our planet are almost invisible to the human eye, but we are innate awareness of their presence, their ability to calm down and destroy, and their ability to weave patterns where they touch. Wind and water have no intrinsic color, are clearly to the point of invisibility, and still move through space. We do not see their form itself, but can detect their patterns and are only indirectly though the objects that they affect. the trail of water hitting is over moss and sea life, the wind passing over wetlands, through wheat fields and the fur of a long-haired animals, these forces make their presence known. their character is contradictory and capricious, includes fragility and violence, turbulence and calm. “According Colossal, each piece takes about one month to put together and the process involves generating more than one mile from thin pieces of glass which she then cuts into thousands of segments in order to complete the picture.
